Common Session Issues & Solutions

Session validation returned null after login

Cause: Magic link auth did not set the cookie properly

Solution: Ensure GET /auth/magic-link?token=... is called with credentials: 'include'

Session token was not saved correctly

Cause: Cookie not being stored in browser

Solution: Check browser settings - cookies must be enabled. Also verify CORS configuration.

Cookie present but authentication failed

Cause: Cookie exists but is invalid or expired

Solution: Log out completely and log back in. If issue persists, check session expiration settings.

All API calls fail after login

Cause: Rork not sending credentials with requests

Solution: Add credentials: 'include' to EVERY fetch call in Rork mobile app
